The International Conference on Sustainable Development (ICSD), now in its 13th edition, is organized by the European Center of Sustainable Development in collaboration with CIT University. It will take place in Rome on 10–11 September 2025, at the Roma Eventi Conference Center (Piazza della Pilotta 4), within the premises of the Pontifical Gregorian University, just steps away from the Trevi Fountain.

The conference serves as a global platform for dialogue, research, and education, addressing the environmental, economic, and social challenges that define the Sustainable Development Agenda. The theme of this year’s edition, “Creating a Unified Foundation for the Sustainable Development: Research, Practice and Education,” reflects the aim to integrate scientific knowledge with practical action and educational commitment.

ICSD 2025 seeks to promote a multidisciplinary approach by bringing together scholars, professionals, educators, and policy-makers. Within an international academic context, the conference will explore innovative approaches and solutions for a more equitable, resilient, and sustainable future.

Participation is open to researchers, academics, professionals, students, and policy-makers interested in sustainable development. Attendees may submit an abstract for a scientific contribution or join as listeners.

To propose a contribution, an abstract must be submitted by 30 July 2025 via the official conference platform. Accepted abstracts will be included in the conference proceedings. Selected papers may also be considered for publication in indexed scientific journals.

Participation is available both in-person in Rome and online. All updated information on registration, deadlines, and fees can be found on the official conference website.
