Registration is now open for the NetworkNature Annual Event, which will take place on Tuesday, September 16th, 2025, in Brussels. Organized by NetworkNature in collaboration with Brussels Environment, the event aims to bring together the scientific, institutional, and professional communities to explore innovative approaches that integrate biodiversity into economic models, in response to urgent global challenges, with a strong focus on Nature-based Solutions (NbS).

The event offers an opportunity to examine strategies for building a resilient economy that promotes human well-being and ecosystem protection, through presentations and interactive discussions. Stakeholders from the public and private sectors will present policies, scientific knowledge, initiatives, and case studies aimed at connecting nature, innovation, finance, and business activities, fostering the adoption of nature-based approaches.

In parallel with the main event, the exhibition “Why choose nature? / Why do we care?” will be held. Originating from an open call, it showcases resources, experiences, and knowledge inspired by the IPBES Values Assessment report. Submissions can be made until June 30th, 2025.

During the day, the NbS Business Forum will also be officially launched, a platform dedicated to showcasing innovative business models based on nature-based solutions.

The event is open to policymakers, local authorities, researchers, innovators, urban planners, investors, entrepreneurs, educators, artists, and civil society.
