Join the Summer School on Ecological Restoration and the Nature Restoration Law (EU 2024/1991), organized by the National Biodiversity Future Center in collaboration with Micamo Lab.
A unique educational opportunity, completely free of charge, to gain theoretical and practical skills in ecological restoration and Nature-based Solutions, through lectures, excursions, and workshops with experts, researchers, and professionals in the field.
Who the course is for
The program is designed for:
- Ecological restoration and rehabilitation practitioners
- Staff from public and private institutions, including protected areas
- Young professionals and recent graduates interested in starting a career in environmental sustainability
What the Summer School offers
- Lectures on regulatory frameworks, international standards (SER, IUCN), operational tools, and case studies in urban, rural, and marine contexts
- Educational excursions to Genoa, Cinque Terre, and the Po River Park in Piedmont to explore real-life projects funded by the NRRP
- Hands-on workshops to design ecological restoration interventions
