TERRAenVISION 2026 is the international conference dedicated to nature-based solutions (NBS), key tools to address challenges related to climate, biodiversity, and resource management. The event brings together scientists, policymakers, private sector professionals, and local stakeholders to exchange experiences, identify new transformational pathways, and promote interdisciplinary collaboration.
The conference covers crucial topics related to the major transitions of our time: from sustainable agriculture and natural area management to the mitigation of natural hazards (fires, floods, droughts), as well as urban and industrial soil and water management. Special attention will also be given to tools for measuring and monitoring NBS processes and the role of science brokers in guiding society toward a circular and climate-resilient economy.
Event Structure
- Each theme will be introduced by two 20-minute plenary keynote speeches, followed by interactive discussions.
- Parallel sessions will allow in-depth exploration of specific projects and research.
- The conference is open not only to researchers but also to professionals and stakeholders working on sustainable cities, regenerative agriculture, and nature-based circular solutions.
