On 17th and 18th September, 2025, the Biodiversa+ Midterm Conference will take place at the Naturalis Biodiversity Center in Leiden, the Netherlands.
The conference will bring together partners and stakeholders to reflect on the progress made so far and to jointly shape future directions. It will offer an opportunity to showcase flagship projects, gather partner testimonies, and highlight key achievements to date.
The Partnership model and its added value will be explored in depth, with a strategic outlook from the third joint call to the next EU Framework Programme. The event will also feature analyses of emerging challenges and the evolving landscape of biodiversity-related research, policy, and practice.
On-site participation will be limited; however, full online access will be provided upon registration.
This event marks a key moment to convene partners, policymakers, researchers, and other relevant actors to take stock of the journey so far and co-design the future of biodiversity governance, research, and action in Europe.
